Why you’ll love working here
We invest in our employees’ growth. Our goal as a firm is to find the right people and help them grow along with us. Your day-to-day work will push you to learn and grow, and our collaborative work environment means you’ll have the chance to work alongside and be mentored by senior staff members. We’ll also support your professional development by assisting with professional conferences, licenses, and continuing education.
We’re anti-hierarchical. Our informal mantra is “all of us are stronger than one of us.” Everyone has an opportunity to contribute to the design process at all levels of experience. And we listen as attentively to our interns as we do to someone with years of experience, because everyone on our team has something to add to the success of our projects.
We have a human-centric work culture. We understand that you’re a three-dimensional person with a life outside of work. We offer a generous PTO package, 401(k) enrollment and employer matching, profit sharing, an established WFH policy, and assistance with continuing education. Benefits also include fully subsidized health insurance, commuter passes (ORCA cards), long term disability and a life and AD&D policy.
We’re a tight-knit group. Runberg is a boutique firm, which means you’ll get to know everybody who works here. We know that connecting and forming bonds with coworkers is critical to fostering a collaborative environment, which is why we regularly set aside time for project charettes, happy hours, site tours, and other company events.
