Vivo Roy

Vivo Roy, sister project of the adjacent Vivo Mercer, is a 168-unit mixed-use residential building that will sit at the base of Queen Anne Hill, across the street from contemporary performance theater On the Boards. Inspired by the theatrical and performance arts legacy of the Uptown District, Vivo Roy’s brick and textured fiber cement façade calls back to the past and seeks to blend with many of the neighboring buildings from the 1920’s. The jewel box lobby at the corner of 1st Avenue and Roy presents a stage-like appearance and the pedestrian-level features sculptures and a mural on the southern-facing side of the building by Northwest artists. The eight-story building will integrate a hotel on the bottom two floors with residential on the upper floors.
